Seung-Hwan Oh. No clue who this guy is, but greatest nickname I’ve ever seen or heard. The rest of the NL Central should legitimately just quit. Cancel the season.
The St. Louis Cardinals recently signed this 33-year old Korean relief pitcher named Seung-Hwan Oh who could literally throw underhand and I wouldn’t even care with a nickname like this:
“The Final Boss”

An inside source with knowledge of Korean baseball has revealed to me that fans in Korea wouldn’t even bother watching the ninth inning when this guy came in and would just leave. Game over.
He also revealed to me that he had a Mariano Rivera-like “Sandman” entrance when he came into games.
He’s apparently the all-time saves leader in Korea, but don’t really care. You could send like the worst reliever ever to the mound, like Fernando Rodney or something, but if you told me his nickname was “The Final Boss” I would ask the ump for a cheat code to be given extra strikes. I would go all Contra “up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Start” cheat code at the plate to get unlimited strikes and still probably wouldn’t win.
God bless Korean baseball.
